A typical weekend without daddy

Daddy new job required him to be out of town quite often. I havent build up my confident in driving them out.

This is how me & kiddo spend our weekend. Morning, go out for breakfast. Bring them to playground for some fun. Shop around at Lot 1. By the time we reach home is noon.

The 2 kiddo have their lunch, play together awhile then take their nap. Wake up play again, evening have dinner then continued to play till time to sleep.

My freedome is gone...keekee

Vera understand the word "PLayGround", when I ask her ...Vera u want to go playground? she will smile happily & node her head, push her backside toward the door. Is time to go out for fun.

Vera also love Car Ride. They will fight to sit. To save cost, I need to fight a car that can sit 2 kiddo.

Venice Can Write her NaMe

Guess what have Venice's write? Not perfect but is a big improvement. Mummy so proud of myself...n of course my princess.

Vera Motor Skill Development from 12 to 13mth

VeRa motor skill progression over a month:

I use this opportunity to teach her to recognise A-Z and write some simple letter L I T V O W M X r n. Number - able to recognise 1 to 10. Better food intake, not so choosy and take fruit. More independent. LoVe to go school , enjoy her peer & teacher.

Psychomotor Skills -Venice is good in her Gross Motor Development & Fine Motor Development.

Gross Motor she is willing to try new experiences which her friend is scare during outdoor.

Fine Motor -Venice can colour within the picture, Cutting & pasting according to shape & requirement. She can hold pencil accurately.

Physical Development is within her milestone. She can walk backward with her right leg follow by left . She is able to pedalled the tricycle around the circumference of the playground.

Cognitive Development Venice is able to identify the number 2. She is able to listen , sing and follow actions of a song.

Emotional / Social Development - Venice is friendly to her peer, she greet her peer and willing to play with them, she also seeks her friend opinion, however she need more encouragement to speak out during play.

Overall Teacher Lilian comment that Venice was within her milestone, not much of concern, however she was rather quiet , she is attentive and do participate in class during lesson. But she seldom speak up or ask question unless teacher ask her. She is very well behave and listen to instruction.

Chinese Teacher is on Hospitalisation Leave, can only access when she is back to work.

N2 curriculum - Re enforce on Letterland phonic sound to build a strong foundation. More writing skill & workbook, tracing & writing of Letter & Number, recognising sight word and blending toward end of year. Teacher Lilian will continue to teach Venice class.

BeBe Ballet at Cestar

Brought Venice to take alook at existing ballet class. Venice express her interest in Ballet and promise she can be alone. Just nice Cestar conduct ballet class for kid at 3yrs old, so I sign her up.

The class dont allowed parent accompany. 1st lesson alot of kid crying for mummy.

.

Venice was very independant, enjoy herself with the teacher in class, while I wait for her outside. Her Ballet Teacher is Ivy a very pretty and patient lady.

This is her 2nd lesson. Order the outfit, in 2 week time she will look like a little swan.

Venice n Mummy go church

It has been very long since I step into church. Over the years ,Lots of friends inviting me to their church, I will have thousands of excuses why I cant attend. Even when I promise to go, the day before will always have attack that hinder me to go on Sunday. Lazy and overslept.

.

Is time I make effort to go back to God for his support. Going Church on Sun was a dilemma , actually intend to start Venice on Phonic class on Sunday 9.3oam, the service clashes with her class. V prefer to go phonic class but I make a decision to let V attend sunday school. Saturday V promise to go and looking forward to attend Sunday class herself. But at night she change her mind, want me to go with her.

.

Sunday Morning, she refuse to go church. Lucky her god dad n mum came so we manage to persuade her to church. She refuse to stay in the class alone. So I have to miss the service and be with her in class. She is afraid that I will run away half way, so she cling to me very tight.

.

After the class , when I ask her, she say she like church, want come again next Sunday. But mummy have to be with me. At least a good start that we both can go church together hand in hand and pray that one day neece can be independent in sunbeam.

Later in the afternoon, I ask V why you can be at CC alone but Sunday class you are scare?

.

V reply : CC mummy go work, I wait for teacher Lillian, teacher Lilian will take care of me and I enjoy myself at CC with my friends. Here no teacher n no friend and the gor gor bully me, so I want mummy.

.

True ,Sunday School, the class is quite big , 3 teacher to 20 to 3 5 kids. When in class with V, I witness a boy push down the blocks that V build and another girl snatch crayon from her hand.

.

After the conversation, I have doubt whether should I continue to bring her and leave her there alone, if the teacher n kid keep changing, guess it will be tough for her to feel secure. Maybe I should wait for the helper to come, so that the helper can be with the girls while I attend service. I don't wish to scare her off before I switch her from CC to Church Kindy in Jan 09.

VeRa LoVes her PlayHouse. She dont know how to build but enjoy crawling , walking around the end product and playing her toy inside the playhouse.

Windy ..BiG KiTe Up HiGh

Daddy brought few big kite from china. Today is windy ,we manage to fly them up very high. We catch some kid attention cause is the biggest kite in sky today.

Hard time keeping it cause is very heavy, daddy hand got cut by the line. Next time need to wear a gloves.

Venice best friend is Mummy

Venice was closer to me after attending ChildCare, she will demand more cuddle time and need me by her side and carry her often. When she is in bad mood, she will be very obsessive , refuse to let me handle Vera. I suspect is because of the long hr of independence in CC. So she demand lots or full of my attention when home.

.

After Venice n daddy moving over to Mum house, my freedom is totally gone. By time reach home is 7.30pm, Therafter bath & feed her, after dinner ,play toy together. 9.00pm prepare to sleep, brush teeth, put on pamper for her , reading time & last milk. By the time she sleep is around 10.30 to 11pm, I am too exhaused and felt into dreamland too.

,

Well but guess all this effort do pay off, when I ask Venice who she love most during our pillow talk session, her reply was MUMMY without any doubt.

,

V reply : Me & mummy are Partner, good friend & buddy, everyday mummy n neece take Mrt together, mummy go work, Ah neece go childcare, then mummy fetch me, we take train home together. Mummy pom pom me, feed me play with me & make me sleep. We are Partner. I Love mummy.

.

I feel so touch over the conversation and feel so bad that I keep complainting that I have no time for myself. Guess that is motherhood.

Zoo Trip & Music for the Intelligent Mind Performance

Today is a busy & exciting day for Venice, Morning reach school at 8am, they are going off at 9am to Zoo for excursion, evening they have performance & Meet the parent session with the Music teacher.

.

It was a simple performance where the teacher play keyboard n the kid follow rhythms & beat to make action. They are so happy singing & co-ordinating the beat together.

.

Have a few min talk with teacher. She say V is doing well although she is here only for few lesson. She can follow and sing very well.

.

While bring V home, she was bubbling about her day at the zoo, what animal she see, what she like and she take the tram. She have a follow up activitiy to complete " a turkey" and bring on 13 Nov 09.

VeRa Birthday Prezzie "BiG Block"

Vera birthday prezzie finally arrival, I order through BP forum 3 week ago. The big block was very big n fun. There are instruction to build 16 different set up. The person that really enjoy is Venice. Everyday we will build a different set up to play. Vera enjoy herself crawling in n out of the set up.

Home Along with Venice & Vera Day 2

Morning pheng came to bring Venice out. Venice was very happy seeing her godaddy. Greet me bye bye and left for the day. I brought Vera out for breakfast. After home, we go normal routine, nap, play, eat . Is the 1st time, I spend time alone with Vera. Taking care of 1 is more peaceful then 2..keekee........while Vera sleep I do housework.

.

Mum reach home around 2pm. She look tired. She have a tube at her neck to drain away dirty blood. She have to carry a glass bottle everywhere she go till Tuesday review.

.

It was much relieved to see her back. Everything is back on track.

Venice reach home at 7pm with lots of present, she have a great time with her godparent. She have an early night today. Vera turn & toss till quite late before she go in dreamland.

HoMe AloNe with Venice n VeRa Day 1

Day 1 - Hmm...mummy no confident to manage 2 kid at home alone. Venice was very sticky and jealous girl, I scared she don't allowed me to handle Vera. So decided to bring Venice to Childcare.

,

Kwan & Grace send us in morning to drop Venice off at Childcare before Kwan work. Venice cry when I drop her off cause she know that I am not working.

,

We had breakfast at Han , thereafter we go for Orchard to walk around. Vera was very guai sitting in pram while we shop around. Decided to go home during noon, on way taking train, we decided to fetch Venice home. Venice was so delighted to see us. She promise mummy that she will be good girl, will help mummy take care of VeRa, will not fight or push Vera.

Venice really keep her promise, reach home, Venice play on her own while I make Vera nap. She dose off on her own. After both girl sleep I do housework. Evening Kwan fetch us to his house for dinner.

Mummy operation is very successful.

.

After dinner, I play with both girl. Vera has always been sleeping with Ah ma & Venice with me. Today Vera will sleep with me while Venice on the floor. Is so generous of jie jie to let go her place for mei mei. And Venice is very understanding , she allow me to pat Vera while she sleep on her own. Vera didn't sleep very well turn and toss.

A tiring day but managable. I doze off very fast.

Mummy is going for Operation

Mum complained that she feel very lethargic, she loss quite some weight and there is a 50cent size lump at her neck. We though is thyroid but after blood test is not. Mum went for check up and was refer to NUH specialist for further check.

After consultation mum need to go bicep to determine cancerous or not.

Result is out today. Good news is not cancerous. However the lump need to be removed and doctor schedule her to go for immediate operation the tomorrow. She will need to be warded for 1 day.

Doctor advise that after the operation, she will need to bed rest for 2 weeks and cant take care of Vera.

Is a challenge for me, because my boss was very unhappy that I will need to be on Urgent Leave as PDS is round the corner. She say alot of hurting word that make me very unhappy. Although I understand her stress, but I am helpless too.

Thank god, my aunty agreed to come over and help me take care of Vera. That solve my worries. I only need to be on leave tomorrow.

That mean I will need to be home alone with 2 kiddo and daddy is overseas in china. New challenge cause this will be my 1st time with 2 kid at home 24 x 7.

Happy Birthday Daddy

Happy Birthday Daddy , we are all working today , no big celebration, we tabao dinner home n buy a small cake to blow. After dinner, we go home continue packing our house for the last round. Fai n Venice offically move over to mum house to stay.

Tommorrow 28 November 09 , daddy is going china again and I need to handle over the key to the tenant.

VeRa Birthday Treat to Star Virgo

Something different from the grand 1st birthday party like Venice, we decided to go for a short trip. This is the 1st time I step out of spore more then a day ,since our last honeymoon 7 years ago. Decided on Cruise because Vera is still young, long traveling time we scare might over tired her.

We have a good rest in the day, cause the boat only depart at 8pm. We go on board at 7pm.

We had our 1st Chinese dinner at a restaurant on board, then aunt friend bring us to our room, was quite disappointed the room was small n cramp, hardly any space to move, no window , very confined, she guide us how to move around on board. 9pm we watch the acrobat performance, Venice was amused by them flying around. After the show , we explore around then have our supper at 11.30am. After supper ,Mum & fai went casino while I pat the girl to sleep.Day 2 - We overslept, wake up at 9am. Rush for our Tim sum breakfast, then follow by coffee break at roof top. Daddy & ah Mum want to play bingo. So I bring Venice to kid club to let her enjoy the indoor playground and participate in donut making.Venice enjoy herself alone in the kid club play ground and making donut.Ah ma is in casino. We snap some picture while waiting for her to take lunch. Venice enjoy running up n down the stair. Vera enjoy herself sitting in pram and move around.

After Lunch we have a swim, was surprise that Venice is not afraid of the pool.
After swim we rest for awhile then is time for Dinner, we have 5 course fine dinning. I heard that is very grand and we have to dress formally. But was not up to our expectation, should have taken the bbq dinner. At night we watch the juggling show and play BINGO. Just 1 more no. we can strike but we miss it. After the show is time for supper, but we are too full to eat anymore. So me n the girl rest while Daddy n ah ma go casino for their last fight.

Day 3 - We wake up very early , cause we have to depart at 10am. Go for our breakfast. Enjoy the breeze and take picture at the roof top.

Overall - The girls are very happy although there are nothing much suitable for kid of their age. But they do enjoy moving and exploring around. Is a total different experience for them 1st time out of spore.

For me, 1st experience on cruise, It was not as grand as I though. It can be during relaxing out of room, lying on the bench watching the sea. BUT with 2 girl I don't have such chance. Room is miserable small & cramp. Nothing much to do, all day long is Eat n Eat n Eat. 5meal a day. The meal is of quantity but no quality.

For mum & Fai, They enjoy it very much, cause both won money at the casino. Cruise is more suitable for people who love to gamble.

Don't think I will re-visit again.

VeRa Happy 1st Birthday Part 2

We had lunch at New York New York, thereafter we go Kid Explorer to let the kids have fun. Vera have never been to playground, she was overjoy. We allowed her to practice crawling everywhere she like. She enjoy the maze and slide. This is the 1st time she can crawl with so much freedom. We spend 2 hrs.

.

Suppose to go kite flying, but daddy detour to see dragon fish. In the end we spend 2hrs at the shop to choose a fish as daddy birthday present. After we pay, the sky is dark. So we drove to Taste of Thailand for our dinner.

.

The kids miss their afternoon nap, doze off on the way home. Darling rest well, tommorrow we will be on cruise for 3day 2 night.

Happy 1st Birthday VeRa

Happy Birthday To My Sweetheart VeRa, no grand celebration....Just a Ice-Cream cake that we all love to eat. A Birthday song that VeRa love to heard and a wonderful family day outing and a holiday day after.

family outing -Trip to Zoo n Kite Flying

Daddy is back from China. The girls are healthy, so we decided to visit to the zoo, we reach at 11am, it was Venice 6th & Vera 2nd Visit.

This trip less then 2hr as the weather was warm, I do not wish to tire the girls out. Try to let the girl have fun with water play, but both was too scare, so we give up the idea.
.

We watch the elephant show & spend most of our time at kid world horse rides. We visit African animals and some others while on way back to entrances. We have KFC for BreakfastVenice take 3 in 1 horse ride for $10, it was very worth it and venice enjoy all her rides. Vera is too young, no ride suit her.. she sit in her bicycle n enjoy her bicycle ride...keekee

We left Zoo at 1pm, have lunch at ang pang liang tou fu then home sweet home. The girl take their nap. While we continue to pack n shift the barang to Mum house. We need to vacate our flat by 28 October 09. This weekend is precious cause both me n fai is around to do packing.

Evening, we bring the girls to SK to try out daddy new kite (brought from China), but the wind is not strong. So the big shark no success to fly up the sky.

Vera Development from 11 to 12mth

LittLe VeRa Development @ 10mth

@ 1omth- Vera started to sit up on her own, move from crawling to sitting position. She love to eat n enjoy all kind of food, when we are eating she will scream till we feed her. She will stand up for her rights fight with jie jie over toys. dance when we on music.

She can call papa, mama , mum mum (eat). Point to places she want us to bring her there. She have 6 fairy tooth.

Little Vera Development @ 11 to 12mth

I was so worried over VeRa motor skill progression. We give her more time to be on the floor . Finally she started to learn 4 leg crawling, from few unstable step to roaming around the house on her own. Hold on to object to stand up. Within 1 mth , she progress very fast, she is able to stand up by herself and move a few step with assistance. She was a very careful baby, every step move with caution , when she is confident, she will let go her hand for few sec to balance.

Now she refuse to sit on walker n enjoy crawling around the house.

At1 year old, she can call Mi Mi & Jie Jie.

LetterLand & Kumon Book

Most useful book for Venice to start learning her A-Z.

I had try various method to guide Venice to have interest in A-Z but failed.

.

Recently brought these letter land then realised that Venice actually know quite a no of character in letterland taught by child care. But her CC only teaches the character & sound at N1, since she show interest , I introduce Letter through this book, and surprising she catch up very fast. BinGo.

MovinG House....

Ah Ma Living Room transform .......to study area for me, toy n play area for girls, living room for watching TV n daddy fish viewing area. My Display Cabinet is UP

We rented out our house to an Indonesian family. Officially moving in on 1 November 09. Last weekend engage mover to move some furniture over to Ah ma house.

Papa is on business trip this week, I busying packing and unpacking mine & girls clothing, their toys and my display cabinet item to ah ma house..

6years never drive car, and 1st attempt to drive Toyota Wish. Joke was I cant find where is the accelerator petal & figure out is D or S gear to move the car. In the end need to seek help.

.

Everyone enjoy the roller coaster ride, and was so worried about me DRIVING. 1st time Venice hold so tight to the car seat. Venice keep telling me to take bus. She was so panic when I drive home alone and quietly sitting by herself which was unusual , when Mum ask her, She say she was very worried about mummy, ask Ah ma to give me a call to ensure that I am safe. So sweet.

Well, but I am so proud that I did manage to transport barang barang over and safely park my car back the the parking lot. Phew....

Vera New Sorting Toy

Is a birthday present from Venice to Vera. In the end we open early cause Venice is very excited over the new gift. The girls have fun playing together. Venice was real good with ring sorter at 12mth. Hopefully with guidance Vera can master it soon.

Waited 1mth for the Hello Kitty Limited Edition Caymen. So happy to see it on Venice feet. She love it too. Currently Snow White MJ & HK Caymen is her hot favourite.

Vera's Passport

Vera's passport is ready...counting down to 22 Oct 09, we are going cruise to celebrate my princess Vera birthday.
.
Vera birthday will be something different from Jie Jie, no big planning ,no party, no grand celebration. Our family inclusive of ye ye & ah ma will be going to star virgo. It has been 7yrs since I last step out of spore. super excited.

No EnDing ......Vera suffering from thoart infection

Vera started drooling on friday, we are so happy when we found that another pair of teeth erupting.. total make up 6 fairy tooth. Her drooling was terrible we need to change her very frequently and her milk intake reduce.

Saturday started to choke and cough when she sleep, no interest in food & her milk intake reduce. Is very tough to get her to drink milk. She was very cranky need us to carry her whole day. She don't seem to swallow her saliva. We though is teething pain. At night, she cannot sleep, keep turning & tossing.

Sunday was terrible, her condition turn worst, No even a drop of water can go into her mouth, she was crying whole day, keep grinding & rubbing her face, eye swollen, cant swallow her sailvia. We need to take turn to carry her and she cant sleep. During evening decided to bring her out for a car ride hopefully she can doze off. She was very tired but whenever she doze off , she will cough & cry in pain that wake her up. We brought teething gel to help her, but is not effective.

Dehydrate was our only fear , try all matter to force her to drink water.

.

9pm, she was crying and coughing. Very breathless. We cant wake till morning for PD, have to rush her to A&E again. We fear that is another bronchitis attack.

.

We are relieve when the nurse at A&E told us that her breathing was alright. After waiting for 45min , we manage to see the doctor. After examine her, she was diagnose with thoart infection. She was not dehydrate cause she was still tearing & drooling.

.

There is no medication that can help her, she will recover in 3 to 5 days time. We can feed her fever medicine to reduce her pain. Doctor advice us to feed her cold drink , milk or food to relieve her pain and keep her hydrate. Take noted that the virus might travel down her lung and cause bronchitis attack again in the next few days.

Children Day Celebration

Present from Learning Vision, is a girl in LV uniform. Is so cute. I feel so bad that on 2 occasion I forgot to dress up my girl. 1st was Hari Raya and 2nd was Children Day Celebration. Every kids dresses up in their traditional wear on Hari Raya & costume on Children day and yet my girl is the only one that wear her uniform to school. I feel so sorry for her.

.

But the teacher was very nice, she keep telling me sorry, is her fault cause she forgot to remind me. And I am really touch that they found costume to doll up my girl. Teacher Lilian told me that Hari Raya Venice was dress in Korean outfit and Children Day she wore a Mongolian outfit.

Venice received lots of presents from teacher and was extremely happy & bubbly on way home.

Vera down with bronchitis

Nightmare not over yet.

Tuesday Vera fever recur again, cough got worst and she was restless . We brought her to kidlink for consultation. She was diagnose bronchitis and ear infection. More medication -sinupret to clear phlegm ,Ventolin to open airway, Zyrtec for flu, Paracetamol for fever, antibiotic, singular for lung . Poor baby need to take 8 type of medication. Doctor reprimand us for not feeding her Tamiflu and we have to start her.

Feeding her medicine became a nightmare, cause she simply refuse and will vomit out even after we force her to swallow.

.

Saturday - Vera started vomiting , after 7 - 8 times round within 3hr , we brought her back to Kidlink. She was put on neublizer and increase her dosage of Ventolin. She was very brave consider 1st time using neublizer, did not straggler much. After using she was so much better. Vomit stop and she can nap well.

.

Tuesday - Brought her back for review. So glad that doctor after hearing her lung declare that she was clear & healthy.

Wedding dinner @ Furama Hotel

Today is daddy cousin Jing Quan wedding day at Furama Hotel. So qiao he is also my colleague at TTSH. Brought 2 set of dresses for the girls but Vera was sick, so we have to keep her at home.

Venice was very well behave throughout the wedding dinner and I was surprise that she eat every course serves. She is a selective eater and love good food like mummy.

A short visit to Goat Farm

The girl prepare to go out, Vera recently learn to drive the fisherprice car, she is a backward driver, but is trying very hard to pick up the skill.

Cope ing at home the whole day, decided to bring the kids for a walk nearby, decided to visit goat farm. Was disappointed that they closed the barn and we are not allow to go near the goat for feeding. We left after 15min.

STAY at HOME Sister

What to do when both are sick n have to stay at home? Suddenly feel so good to have a sister to play with....appreciate one another...hmmm play cooking together, fight together & create havoc. Venice keep repeating I LOVE MEI MEI. Vera will SMILE when Venice is around.

Staying at home on weekend is never in our family dictionary. Weekend is suppose to go out for fun & food. But this super long weekend ....we are stuck at home with bottles of yucky medication!!!!

What a crazy Holiday ..V1 stomach flu, V2 Tamiflu???

Friday Night :-

3 sick bugz staying under one roof .... is a helpless night cause Vera fever was high , she keep coughing cannot sleep well, we are very exhausted.

Saturday Venice Stomach Flu:-

Vera 3rd day of Fever, it seem to be going up, hit 39degree in less then 4hr since the last intake of paracetamol.

.

Nightmare came when Venice started to Vomit at night & complaint that her tummy pain. She vomited 6 times within 1 hr and we have to rush to 24hr clinic. She was diagnose with stomach flu. She finally settled down after the insertion of table into her anus.

.

We finally settled to bed at 2am. Vera was coughing non stop crying for ah ma.

Sunday Vera Nose bleeding:-

.

While me & fai is out to run some errand, got a call from mum that Vera Nose bleed. We rush back to send her to A&E. Her nose was still dripping with blood stain when reach KKH A&E. The nurse assure us that is alright, most likely the blood vessel break , however they will do a blood count to see if she has virus infection since day 4 fever still very high & hopefully the bleeding is not due to low blood count.

Blood test result is out she is not virus infection. Doctor cant give her antibiotic, but because her fever was high 39degree at day 4 and coughing badly. She was prescribe various medication and TAMIFLU. I got a shock Y TAMIFLU???? Is not recommended for kid below 1yrs old and there is a lot of side effect.

.

Doctor assure me that the amount is adjusted to her weight. By day 2 she will be better. Side effect is stomach ache , loose stool & vomiting. I was very redundant but doctor say there is not other medication Vera can take to help her to get better.

.

The TAMIFLU itself cause me $45. Total bill is $145.

Mummy I dont want to eat.....

Home, after some consideration we decide to drop the idea of feeding her TAMIFLU. She is suffering already, the medication suppose to help her and not caused her future discomfort. We decided to monitor her for another day.

.

Pray that I have make the right decision. My block nose was getting worst, another day of rest tomm, hope miracle will happened, we will all recover.

The NevEr EnDinG SiCk BuGz

2009 is not a good year for us. Flu bug seem to be surrounding our family running like a cycle.

VeRa, countless no of medicine she have swallow since 3mth old and yet she was always having cold. We suspect that she was sensitive and brought her to see Resp Specialist Dr Chay Ah Mo and she was on Kitotifen for 3mth. Condition started to get better and she was flu free for 6 weeks.

.

Venice started school this year, naturally she fall sick often. Since back from maternity leave ,I was down with cold very frequently, the last attack I have to rush to A&E due to lung infection & on Medical Leave for 7days. I was on Medical Leave , naturally Venice have to miss school, and guess she got the virus from me!!!

.

Venice absent from school Mon to Wed. I took urgent leave on Mon to bring her to clinic & separate her from Vera. When she is back to school on Thurs, got news that 5/8 toddler in another class is down with stomach flu. The principle assured me that is only 1 confirmed case. In my heart I was praying that Venice will be healthy.

.

Vera & Mum started to develop flu & fever on Thursday. I start to have cold again. The Virus spread from me to Venice and now is Vera & Mum to back to me again.

How to stop it?????

Vera photo shoot by Sean Lau on 29 August 09 (Sat). Mummy sign up the package 3mth ago combining with other November mummies & friend to get a better deal.

The session almost need to cancel because mummy & Vera is surrounded by flu bugz again. I decide to go ahead cause to re-schedule we have to wait for another 2 mth, by then Vera is too old for concept photo.

.

Morning I quickly pop panadol, when the fever subside I walk out to have my hair cut & blow. Reach home packed and iron their loots. Make Vera sleep. Unfortunately Venice miss her nap and she is cranky. I bring 2 big bags of loots, 15 set for Vera, 7 set of sister loots, 3 set for family.

When we reach, we was greet by Sean & Adelena , they are very friendly couple. I lay out all my clothing on the table for Sean to select which for Vera to wear. He will match the clothing , hair accessories with his set up.

Vera was very excited sitting in front of all the studio lighting, she begin to scream & clap her hand for Sean to take picture. I was so relief at this moment, at 1st was afraid that she will be cranky cause her mucus keep dripping non stop.

This little garden pot set up was so cute. I love this setting when I browse his website. Vera have to cross her leg & sit in. But my little darling was so scared that she keep crying and insist to crawl out of the pot. Not much picture was taken.Naked xiu xiu, Suddenly I feel she look so much like a boy, guess is was too cold to go naked & she was unwell. She was crying for help while we try to make her in crawling position. We give up taking.After dressing Vera up, she was a happy baby again, she must have feel very safe sitting on the chair. Happily smiling when we act as a clown behind Sean.Seeing her so happy, Sean decided to try another basket series of set up with lots of teddy bear. Confirmed Vera is not a doll person. The moment she is in, she was upset again, looking at us hinting for help.Where is Venice all this while? At 1st she was very happy, helping us to make vera laugh, but after a few series without her, she start to feel in balance, started to be very cranky. distracting Vera, blocking the camera and prevent us from giving all the attention to Vera.So I request that is time for both girl to take some picture. After changing Venice was not very co-operative. At 1st was a nice long bench for the gal to sit together, She refuse to sit, Sean change to single chair . She refuse to smile and make all sort of funny faces. In the end, we give up on Sister shoot. Surprisingly still have better picture capture.Vera look tense on the chair by herself. Unable to make her smile. Guess is time for another set up.

Phew finally there is a pail that can make her happy, Manage to catch her smiling happily inside.


Got a big surprise when Vera take this series of picture. Put her into the tutu, force a necklace onto her neck.

Sean ask us if she can stand with support, hmm well we can try, n surprisingly , this is the 1st time we saw Vera standing up holding a pole. She was dancing happily shaking her butt & balancing herself, while mummy standing beside trying to catch her if she fall.
.

2nd surprise, she can pose on 4. YES is pose = position and not crawl on 4. Is an advancement for us cause she is always on commando position. Never so sexy.



Vera you are suppose to look sexy babe. but you look like a boy in tutu soaking with your saliva ..hmm..must be her hair that make you look like ah boy.Basket = Scared = = dont want = Not happy = Crying baby. Manage to capture few picture & you are unhappy again. You was crying badly and we have to take 5 , to feed you milk.
After milk you have calm down for a while, while all kids love pool ball. You was crying for help inside the pool. We give up and guess is time to call jie jie back for family shoot.

Where is jie jie? she has been very distracting, and was being request to bring her out. So she go playground with Yeye.

Venice was very wet when she is back. We clean her up and change her into our family suit for family portrait & sister shoots. Venice was up to her funny face again. In the end we think of a way, sing happy birthday song. It look more natural while sing so that Sean can capture some picture.

This is the only position that Sean can take the sister, cause while trying to ask Venice to be closer to Vera, instead of hugging her ,she push her down and Vera cry again.

I requested for them to wear tutu that I have prepared and take some shots. Quite upset that no single shot for Venice in this tutu set. She look so lovely like angel in this dress.Just when I thought is the end day, a big teddy bear appeared to put an closure to the day. Overall is a good experience, Sean & Adelena was very friendly , pocket burnt a big hole, a busy yet a fun session, a bit up sad cause some detail was not taken care. Maybe I cant expect much as it suppose to be a concept photographing for Vera.

Vera, very very tired being the centre attention, why I need to keep changing clothes, Why I need to sit in those pail , basket & pot and facing all the furly scary stuff. The adult is so excited but I am so scared.

.

Venice was upset cause she we did not give her attention, she was screaming & crying making a scene when we are about to left, in the end we have to drag her out of her house naked.

.

Mummy feel abit of regret that I didn't take studio picture for Venice when she was younger. Venice was such a smiley & photogenic darling when she was a baby.

.

I was shivering after the photo shoot, Fever is back again, after dropping the girls home, I went A&E for consultation.

Vera can wear Jie Jie Dress

Venice 2yrs old birthday party dress, Vera can wear already. I am so amazed. You shall wear this for the coming Qing Quan Uncle wedding dinner on 26 Sept.

Vera can SIT UP

Mummy so proud of u. U make my day by sitting up. N u are so cute, one night u suddenly sit up middle of the night, cough & cough with your eye closed. After coughing you lie down and continue to sleep.
